TINUBU REAFFIRMS 2027 PRESIDENTIAL AMBITION, VOWS TO CONTINUE RE-ELECTION BID

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his determination to seek re-election in the 2027 presidential election, expressing confidence in his bid for a second term in office.

Tinubu, who accepted the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination in May 2026, has called on party leaders and supporters to unite behind his ambition ahead of the forthcoming general election.

During the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council on October 14, 2026, the President urged party members to demonstrate unity, commitment and dedication as they prepare for the electoral contest.

He also emphasised the need for the party to work together to secure another mandate from Nigerians while ensuring that campaign activities do not distract his administration from its responsibilities.

The 2027 presidential election is expected to feature political competition between the ruling APC and opposition parties seeking to challenge its position.

Tinubu’s re-election bid will be decided by Nigerian voters at the polls.
